"Dom could help me a lot last year and Milos also arrived too," Pecsi noted. "Anything that I wanted to get help with or someone to call or text, he [Szoboszlai] was always there. He really helped me a lot."

As the Reds prepare for the 2026-27 season under new head coach Andoni Iraola, Pecsi views pre-season as a crucial period for growth and self-improvement.
"Pre-season is always an opportunity," he stated. "I want to get back to my shape, and I want to improve myself and show what I can do on the pitch. It's always good to have the pre-season."
Pecsi's focus is on physical conditioning and showcasing his abilities on the training pitch. He understands that every day is an opportunity to impress and earn his place in the team.

"I always look at the players and how they move in training or off the pitch," he explained. "They do things that maybe I can put to my game or personality. It's really inspiring to be among these players. They are also really nice guys, so I can learn from them a lot."

"I hope I can show myself," he said, emphasizing his ambition. "But the most important [thing] is to get back into shape and improve and also show myself on the training pitch. This is what I want to do in pre-season."
